Lakeridge School
Lakeridge School is a public elementary school found in the southeast Saskatoon neighbourhood of the same name. It places emphasis on student achievement, outdoor education, and student-centred extracurriculars to help children succeed in many avenues. It also boasts a professionally-staffed Learning Resource Centre with support specialists designed to serve students with multiple learning needs.
Beyond the regular academic stream, Lakeridge School now also boasts an elementary Montessori program for children in kindergarten through to grade 3. Based on the educational ideals of Maria Montessori, learning in this program is designed to be individualized to each student, where teachers follow their lead and encourage independence. It also offers a before & after school program and the Lakeridge Cooperative Preschool.
