Dalmeny

The town of Dalmeny was first settled around 1800 and named after the rural village Dalmeny, Scotland. The town developed further around 1905 with the arrival of the Canadian national railway. The town of Dalmeny is located 32 kilometers north of Saskatoon, and is a little over 15 minutes away.
Delmeny is thriving young community of 1900 people in the 2011 census, which makes it comparatively quite a large town. The population growth was stunted until the 1970s. But the population grew from 400 to 1000 residents in 1981 and the village was incorporated into a town.
Dalmeny has an abundance of amenities; it has two schools providing education from pre kindergarten up to grade 12 with a total of 500 students, business services, churches, paved streets and a newly built arena. People relocate to Dalmeny because of the terrific community spirit, the local activities, and parades.
The town of Dalmeny hast its own police force consisting of 3 officers and an auxiliary officer, to keep the peace. The town has its own website and a quarterly newsletter, which provides all the necessary information and updates locals should know and take care off.
