Outlook

Located southwest and about an hour away from Saskatoon, downstream of South Saskatchewan river, Outlook is a town with a thriving population of 2300 residents. The town was named Outlook because of the amazing view at the edge of a colossal valley area that looks upon a fierce river below.
Soon after the discovery of Outlook in 1905, buildings were quickly constructed, as well as a post office. The town made more headway in months than most towns make in a year. In the winter of 1908, the town became a route of a railway. Raw materials for growth became more abundant and within a year, Outlook had become a thriving village. On November 1909, it was officially declared a town.
Apart from being a fully developed town with its own airport, the town of Outlook houses various attractions. First it’s proximity to 50 electrified campsites, hiking trails, 9 hole golf courses and an Olympic size swimming pool. The Skytrail Bridge is an old railway bridge , that has now become an attraction and is mainly used for pedestrian use.
Outlooks has its very own art program that includes Equinox theatre, who in association with LCBI theatre group creates productions throughout the year. The Outlook and district community arts council recently inaugurated an art gallery that showcases the work of local artists. A perfect place to make your home or enjoy your vacation.
