There is a proper Kindergarten school for children until Grade 12; the name is École Providence French Language School. However, the neighbouring town Aberdeen has a Composite School for those who would like to have instructions in English. The Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church and Paroisse St. Philippe de Neri Parish Roman Catholic Church are also here at Vonda. There is also the Vonda Memorial Rink, which is a major recreational activity for inhabitants of Vonda.
The Vonda post office had its establishment on 1 April 1905, but by then, the name was Vaunder. The name changed to Vonda on 1 May 1906. There are other business services, hotels, and Co-op firms here as well.
Over the past hundred years, it has changed a lot with several new developments. Today, the town is 107 years old now, and still one of the most peaceful places to be.
