Hague

Hague is a small rural town in Saskatchewan, located about 44 kilometers from the city of Saskatoon & 95 kilometer southwest of Prince Albert along twinned highway 11. Hague was first settled by farmers in the early 1900s by the Mennonite community, due to the fertile land in the area.
The town was named after Mr. J. Hague an engineer for the Canadian national railway when the track was laid to connect Saskatoon and Prince Albert. Hague has a population of 900 people and has a lot offer for a small and growing community.
Town of Hague is conveniently located near major amenities and many historical and recreational attractions. It offers one of the best sporting complexes in the valley area; three sheets of artificial ice provide the best curling conditions. Hague is also home of The Hague Royals winner of the provincial finals title in 1983. Everyone can also enjoy the outdoor arena in the winter and a tennis court in the summer.
Despite Hague mainly a farming town, it doesn’t lack in any on the amenities and compared to Saskatoon the cost of living in Hague is quite low. It has schools providing education starting from kindergarten up to grade 12.
