Originally settled in 1884 as the Stoney Creek Settlement, Melfort is a small Saskatchewan city located just over 170 KM northeast of Saskatoon. Formerly known as the “City of Northern Lights” for its frequent aurora borealis visits, it boasts a strong population of about 5,955 people and an affordable average home price of just over $211,500.
Now proudly owning the motto of “Play Melfort,” the city is known for its incredible recreational facilities and opportunities.
