The Rural Municipality of Colonsay No. 342, established in 1909, is situated in central Saskatchewan, approximately 55 kilometers east of Saskatoon along the Yellowhead Highway. Covering an area of 548.46 square kilometers, the RM encompasses the villages of Colonsay and Meacham, as well as the localities of Arpiers, Neely, and Rutan. As of the 2021 Census, the RM had a population of 260 residents, reflecting a slight decrease from 269 in 2016 .
