Weyburn

Reportedly named after the Scottish saying “wee burn,” meaning small creek, Weyburn is Saskatchewan’s 11th largest city located just 70 KM north of the United States border. Established in the late 1800s with the continued development of the Canadian Pacific Railway, it has since flourished into a friendly community of 11,019 people as of 2021 with the average Weyburn homes for sale priced at about $XXX,XXX.
As the largest inland grain gathering point in Canada, agriculture makes up the majority of the Weyburn economy, with oil and gas as the other greatest contributors. This makes the city an excellent choice for both employees of these industries and their families, with a friendly and well-equipped community to raise them in. This includes all the banking, healthcare, and personal services you could need, as well as a modern education system that features one of the province’s leading comprehensive high schools.
The city of Weyburn also proudly boasts a diverse selection of amenities, including restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Plus, a number of sports and recreational offerings, civic facilities, galleries, museums, and one of Saskatchewan’s newest urban park developments making it easy to get out and enjoy the fresh air.
