Humboldt's benchmark home price climbed over seven percent year-over-year to $338,200 in August 2026, while sales activity jumped 44 percent above the same month last year.

March 2026 was another active month for the Humboldt real estate market. The market recorded 11 residential sales, up 10.0% year over year, while the total residential benchmark price rose to $320,100, up 8.5% from March 2025. At the same time, new listings came in at 10 and inventory sat at 17 properties, leaving Humboldt with just 1.55 months of supply for the month.

What stands out most is how tight the market continues to be relative to long-term norms. On the page 1 summary chart, sales were slightly above the 10-year average, while new listings were 44.4% below that average and inventory was 76.8% below it. Months of supply was also 85.6% below the 10-year average, which tells us well-priced homes can still attract strong attention in Humboldt.
