What This Means for Buyers and Sellers

Sellers: the 48.5-day average time on market masks a wide spread — well-priced properties at Last Mountain, Echo, and Lake Diefenbaker moved in under three weeks, while premium listings and remote-lake properties routinely needed 90+ days. Pricing to comparable recent sales on your specific waterbody is more important than ever.

Buyers: with sales confirmed on 27 distinct waterbodies, Q2 2026 offered real choice across every price point — from a $48,500 lot near Meeting Lake Regional Park up to $1.58M lakefront estates at Emma Lake. The 27 waterbodies with no recorded Q2 sales may represent either quieter markets or opportunities where inventory is genuinely scarce.
